Are dogs really welcome?
Yes — we love having dogs, with one thing to note: small, house-trained dogs only. The cottage is a proper little home rather than a farm setup, so it isn't suited to hunting dogs or outdoor/kennel dogs. Tell us about your dog when you book and we'll make sure it's a good fit.
How many people does the cottage sleep?
Up to 4 guests. There's a queen bed in the main bedroom and two singles in the second bedroom, plus couches in the living room to relax on.
Where exactly is the cottage?
It's at Te Pahu, at the foot of Mt Pirongia in the Waikato — about 25 minutes from Hamilton. It's private and rural; we send you the exact address and directions once your stay is booked.

What's the kitchen like — is it self-contained?
The whole cottage is yours and fully self-contained. The kitchen has an oven and cooktop, dishwasher, fridge, microwave and kettle, and there's a washing machine too. Towels and bed linen are all provided.
